GUIDELINES:

The Tennessee Titans, in conjunction with The Fort Houston Artisan Support Project, call for artists of all media to submit up to (3) pieces each for a three-day art exhibition in December 2021. This event will take place in Nashville, TN, and feature artwork selected in addition to interactive installations and performances. Submissions of all types of media are highly encouraged.

Work submitted should reflect an intersection of Art, Football and Nashville. Team colors, logos, photography and the stadium are all encouraged as inspiration but not mandatory. We want to proudly celebrate your artistic license in the work. Take chances and push the work. That's where the magic happens. While a literal approach is not necessary, it must be apparent that your work is Titans themed or related.

When submitting via email, please title your subject line 'Titans Artwork Submission'. Your submission should consist of images of your finished piece(s), personal contact information, and a short statement about your work.

If selected for participation in the exhibition, please confirm your participation no later than November 10th. Work must be received by November 15th, to be shown in the event taking place in December. All sales will be recorded and artists notified by January 1st, 2022.

TEXTURE AND BACKGROUND:

There's more to Nashville than Broadway, bachelorettes and country music. Nashville is where people dream big and work hard, defying the odds and achieving their goals – a city where individuals with big dreams are supported and backed by a strong community, helping everyone achieve glory.

An epicenter for talent, Nashville prides itself on being the destination for seizing opportunity and turning the biggest dreams into reality. In this unique city, technology, culinary arts, education and sports also own the stage – and the Tennessee Titans football team performs on the biggest stage of them all.

As Titans, we come together to fight and conquer challengers both on the field and in our communities. We represent the collective strength and power of teamwork – a message that empowers greatness, inspires confidence, and lights a fire from within.

Embodying the larger-than-life size and impact of a Titan, we capture the spotlight and bring power and undeniable greatness to all that we do – providing a sense of pride being the biggest and best at every moment, every step.

With a resilient spirit, we tackle the challenges that come our way. We pick each other up when one of us is down. We may bend but we are determined not to break. We choose unity – it doesn't matter where you're from, only where you choose to be – and we choose to be greater together. Greater than yesterday. Greater done our way. Built on our city. Our state. Our team. We are Tennessee Tough.

In the tradition of our city's enterprising attitude, we now begin a new initiative - a collection of artwork inspired by the Titans. Artists of all disciplines are invited to participate, in a juried exhibition that will be the showpiece of our Titans Foundation fundraiser, in December 2021.

Entries may be submitted until November 1st, 2021. All artwork will be chosen by curator Alyssa Beach, Gallery Director at Fort Houston, and the Tennessee Titans; notification of selection will be sent no later than November 10th, 2021. If selected, artists are responsible for the delivery of work to the exhibition, and ensuring that their piece(s) arrive ready to hang. Artists will retain 50% of all personal sales, with the remaining 50% donated to the Titans Foundation, for the purpose of serving arts, culture and educational initiatives throughout Nashville.

Thank you and we look forward to receiving your submission!
